I had some seasoned beef and beans left over from making burritos for dinner the other night, and some leftover *tomato gravy hanging around in the fridge. So I sauteed up some onions and peppers with some Ancho powder, combined it with the leftovers, and voila! CHILI!
- *Tomato Gravy is Italian-American slang for tomato sauce made with beef and/or pork.
Tonight’s tasty dinner experiment.
Leftover chicken, peppers, onions, mushrooms, beans, broccoli, corn, assorted spices (cumin, chili powder, etc.)
I call it Mexican Stir Fry!
